We started Hilgers Haunted Nights with the goal of providing a unique, immersive, spooky and theatrical experience during the Halloween season. Austin magicians will guide you through one of Austin's oldest and most haunted homes, just steps away from the Capitol

Hilgers Haunted Nights is an annual fundraiser for the Texas Magic Center, a nonprofit whose mission is to preserve and advance the art of magic in Texas, and the Austin Bar Foundation, a nonprofit whose mission is to expand legal-related charitable and educational programs in Central Texas. Both are 501(c)(3) charities, meaning donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

This year's Hilgers Haunted Nights culminates in a Victorian seance, like those popular in the late 1800's and central to the American spiritualism movement. If you are claustrophobic, afraid of the dark, or easily scared, this is not the experience for you. If it sounds awesome, get your tickets now!
Hilgers Haunted Nights is an immersive, theatrical experience that unfolds throughout the three floors of Hilgers House, home of the Austin Bar.
While Hilgers Haunted Nights is produced for adult audiences, it is also appropriate for mature teens.
Hilgers Haunted Nights is experienced in groups of up to eight people. Tickets list the time you are estimated to enter the experience. You should plan to arrive prior to your entry time to enjoy a drink on the grounds. Ticketholders are strongly encouraged to arrive early.
No. While the house is certainly haunted and you are likely to experience the supernatural, this is not a traditional “haunted house.”
Stand-by tickets are subject to availability. Due to the intimate nature of the experience, tickets may not be available at the event.
Hilgers Haunted Nights is being produced by the Texas Magic Center, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, whose mission is to promote and preserve the art of magic in Texas. Proceeds will be divided between TMC and the Austin Bar Foundation, whose mission is to support and expand the provision of legal-related charitable and educational programs and services in Central Texas. The ABF owns Hilgers House.
